Veterinary Dental Consulting Services Tennessee
Raising the Standard of Dental Care and Training.
At Southeastern Veterinary Dentistry and Consulting we help you raise the standard of care for your patients and grow your practice through training and education.
Everything your practice needs to elevate the standard of patient care.
A comprehensive dental care program has many different layers, ranging from initial puppy/kitten or new patient consults, all the way to geriatric care and all stages in between. We adhere to a multi-faceted, full team approach that includes all your employees – from the front desk staff to the nurses and veterinarians directly involved in patient care.
Although commonly seen dental diseases in companion animals are not necessarily life-threatening, they threaten the quality of life of the patient, and the peace of mind of the pet owner.
Supporting your patients, team and growth through services and training.
Once we partner with you and your team, you will receive constant and complete supervision. This is a lifelong commitment we make to ensure continual enhancement of your dental program, and to keep you and your staff comfortable with the level of care you provide to your patients.
Initial Evaluation
An in-clinic evaluation of current dental procedures and standards from scheduling to discharge to determine your advanced veterinary dentistry needs. This initial evaluation will include an analysis of the following:
Patient scheduling and client consent
Instrument and handpiece knowledge
Knowledge of dental and oral surgery procedures
This evaluation is essential in identifying strengths and weaknesses within your veterinary dentistry and oral surgery practice and staff. Specific recommendations will be made for improvement in all areas with guidance on how best to implement the changes that will bring your dental and oral surgery practice to the next level—emphasis on staff knowledge and investment, client satisfaction, compliance, and patient care.
The report will be discussed in person with the practice owner and manager. Oversight will be provided every step of the way. Learning guides, forms, spreadsheets, and charts will be provided.
Planning & Implementation
Monthly Follow-up (In-clinic)
We work closely with you by scheduling three monthly follow-up consultations to evaluate the implementation of dentistry and oral surgery recommendations and address any new or ongoing dental care concerns for your veterinarians and your team. After each monthly visit, a brief report will be generated, providing feedback on progress and identifying continued areas for improvement. As always, phone and virtual support are available at every step.

Our clients love us... and we love them!
“Wonderful experience with Dr. Stein and two of my dogs. He's so knowledgeable, skilled and compassionate. He took the time to explain the situations clearly and concisely at a level I could understand. Always open for questions and made sure I had the information necessary to make an informed decision. HIGHLY recommend this specialist and feel fortunate to have him in our area. Thrilled you now have your own facility, Dr. Stein!”

“When our family vet discovered that my cat, Munchkin, was experiencing teeth resorption and likely was in pain, she recommended Dr. Stein to remove the deteriorating teeth. He and his wonderfully caring and attentive staff treated Munchkin like one of their own. They kept me fully informed about the procedures and what to expect. The surgery was successful, and my cat recovered without any problems. I can't thank Dr. Stein and his folks enough for their top-notch professional treatment.”

“I really have to thank [Dr. Stein and staff] for the amazing job they do every day in caring for our furry loved ones. They really have improved the health and wellbeing of my little guy, Turner. He has probably lived with dental disease and pain for a number of years. The change I see in him since his treatment is completely for the better. Turner is at least 14 years old and he is like a puppy again!”

“Since the first time I met Dr Stein on a professional basis he has been a great resource to me and the other veterinarians in our practice. He was instrumental in helping us set up our dental suite from the beginning. He is always available and eager to help with our cases anytime we call for a consultation. Our clients that we have referred to him have relayed back to us how professional thorough and kind he and his staff have been to them and their pets. As I have further been able to meet with him on a personal basis I have found him to be very approachable and eager to share his knowledge.”
